It is a large luxurious family beach holiday home with an outside heated swimming pool. It has extensive gardens and woodland (approx. 3 acres) which is extremely rare in this location and comes as a pleasant surprise to guests.

The house itself is a substantial detached property which offers 5 Star Gold VisitBritain standard with well maintained and spacious accommodation including 5 bedrooms (sleeps up to 12) and 3 Reception Rooms. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed with luxurious Vi-Sprung beds and Egyptian Cotton linen.

It has a newly installed bespoke oak kitchen housing a wide range of high quality equipment.  It also has an excellent range of family-friendly accessories including an in-built trampoline and a table tennis table. There are also 2 outside dining areas and a large assortment of garden furniture dotted around the garden to take full advantage of the beautiful grounds and wonderful sea and country views.

Outside Space

Glenacres has extensive gardens and woodland (approx. 3 acres) consisting of well laid out formal gardens to the west with large expanses of lawn interspersed with a variety of shrubs and trees. There is also a rose garden, vegetable garden and orchard. On the south western side is a wooden bridge leading to a large area of bluebell woodland. The western boundary backs onto fields with fine views to Golden Cap, the sea and surrounding hills. Immediately to the south of the house is a walled garden with adjoining terrace, areas of lawn, flower and shrub beds which also features a small heated swimming pool with terrace (open from May to October). An array of outside furniture is provided consisting of outside sofas and chairs, dining tables, loungers, BBQ, table tennis and trampoline. There is ample parking for numerous cars on the forecourt of the property.


Glenacres is not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are steps down to the house and all bedrooms are situated on the first floor.

Minimum Stay

Please note that the minimum stay is 7 days, although we would consider a shorter stay during off-peak periods.  Change over day is Saturday.

Booking Terms

To confirm your stay, a booking form will be sent to you and on return of this with a deposit of one third of the total cost of your stay, your booking will be secured.
